New regional offices for a health insurance company which comprises of two buildings joined by a three-story connector.

Renewable, locally sourced wood chips fuel this 1-Megawatt (40,000 lbs/hr of steam) biomass plant, allowing the local utility to choose from multiple fuel sources. The project included the addition of a drive-over truck tipper that drastically reduces unloading time and delivery congestion.

Design and construction of a new cogeneration plant which houses a natural gas-fired turbine, a Heat Recovery Steam Generator, a gas compressor, two 500-ton electric centrifugal chillers, a control room, office space, and room for a second turbine/HRSG pair. The project was HUD-financed.

A National Guard field maintenance shop that serves 17 Army units. The 18,808 SF masonry and insulated metal panel building offers 11,000 SF of maintenance space and 8,000 SF of administrative space. Featuring three, general purpose work bays, the garage allows six military vehicles to be serviced inside simultaneously. Each work bay is equipped with ready-to-use antifreeze, transmission fluid, compressed air, water, grease, oil, an exhaust extraction system, and an emergency eyewash station.

As the first field maintenance shop in the nation that will qualify for the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, the facility includes solar panels (on the roof and behind the facility), a battery storage system, and a storm water retention system which will save rainwater for washing vehicles. The solar panels will generate more power than the shop will need, allowing the Army National Guard to export power back to the grid. Additionally – to maximize sustainability and lessen the environmental impact of new construction – 75% of the construction waste generated was recycled or reused.

Rapid design and erection of a precast concrete structure which is supported on steel piles. The structure provides 524 new parking spaces for the city and includes glass-enclosed stairwells that maximize visibility and daylighting to complement the facility’s LED lighting.

Midway Fire Department’s 15,000 SF facility (constructed with concrete masonry units) offers a 4,100 SF apparatus bay, firematic support, a day room, chief’s office, president’s office, radio room, general office, laundry room, decontamination room, and a member’s area.

Construction of the interior of a new 115,000 SF, 3-story science center. The state-of-the-art facility includes 25 new interdisciplinary science laboratories, 11 classrooms, faculty and staff offices, conference spaces, a study center, and a greenhouse.

Renovation and adaptive reuse project which converted a vintage office building into a retail and event space. The revived facility includes the River Street Market, a food hall, and a sophisticated penthouse event space overlooking the river.

Interior build-out of a metal building that accommodates single stream recyclable waste processing and material recovery. The facility includes employee support facilities including an office, break area, meeting space, and restrooms.

A decade long project that constructed a 35-acre office park with 10 new Class A office buildings. Additional work included renovations, multiple tenant fit-ups, and site work.
